A Different Way to Arrive

When planning a yoga teacher training abroad, many people automatically look for flights. But flying isn't the only way to get to Nydum.

This week, one of our students, Andreas, traveled all the way from Zurich, Switzerland, by overnight bus. His journey took around 12 hours and allowed him to arrive directly at the training without stepping onto a plane.

When we asked him why he chose the bus, his answer was simple:

"I try not to fly."

For some people, choosing alternative transportation is about reducing their environmental impact. For others, it's about saving money, avoiding airports, or simply enjoying a slower and more relaxed way of travelling.

The good news is that reaching Nydum doesn't have to involve a flight. Depending on where you're coming from, buses and trains can be excellent options. Many European cities are well connected to Spain through long-distance services and rail networks, often at surprisingly affordable prices.

Whether you arrive by plane, bus, train, or car, what matters most is that you get here feeling ready for the experience ahead. But if you've been assuming that flying is your only option, it might be worth exploring the alternatives.

Sometimes the journey can be part of the adventure too.
