Trust the Process: Anya’s Journey Through Yoga Teacher Training

When Anya arrived at the yoga teacher training in India, she came from a “really stressed phase” in life. Her body felt stiff, her mind was full, and she wasn’t sure what to expect. She didn’t come to become a teacher — she simply wanted to move better, understand her postures, and reconnect with herself.

But as the days unfolded, the experience became something much deeper.

“The whole process that the training brought was the highlight,” Anya shares. “My mindset changed a lot. I reflected on so many things, and I could feel myself growing — physically and mentally.”

Throughout the training, Anya discovered a new sense of strength and flexibility — not just in her body, but in her heart. She learned postures she had never attempted before, including a headstand she once thought impossible.

“It wasn’t always a steady journey,” she admits. “There were ups and downs. But it was beautiful to see how I could grow — with the help of others and through my own persistence.”

On the last day, when asked what she would tell herself from 18 days ago, her message was simple and powerful:

“Keep going. Trust the process. Life is beautiful. Never lose trust in yourself or in the journey. It will all work out.”

Originally, Anya had no plans to teach yoga. She joined the course purely to refine her practice and avoid injury. But something changed.

“I didn’t plan to teach… and now I’m like, why not? I want to do it. I feel confident and fully equipped to be a yoga teacher. It sounds weird, but it’s true.”

Her transformation is a reminder that yoga is not just about the poses — it’s about self-discovery, courage, and the power of community.

As the training concluded, Anya had just one final thought to share:

“Thank you — just a big, big thank you.”
